Terms & Privacy

Plain-English version: we don't require an account, we don't run analytics, we don't share or sell your data, and we only show your answers to your partner when you both said yes. The long version is below.

1. Overview

TheBedroomQuiz is a simple compatibility quiz for couples. Two partners each answer the same set of questions privately, and only the answers you both said yes to (🤷, 😀, or 😍) are revealed to either of you in the final results.

By using the site, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy below, whether you are a casual visitor ("Visitor") or you've started a quiz session ("User"). If you don't agree, please close the tab and don't use the service.

2. Age requirement

You and your partner must both be 18 years of age or older to use TheBedroomQuiz. The content is explicit and intended for adults. By starting a session you confirm that both participants meet this requirement.

3. Privacy policy

3.1 What we don't collect

• No email address. Ever.
• No password or account.
• No phone number, date of birth, or address.
• No third-party analytics, ad tracking, or social login. We don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Segment, or anything similar.
• No tracking across other sites. We don't have cross-site cookies, ad pixels, or fingerprinting scripts.
• No data sold. Ever. We don't sell, license, rent, or barter user data, full stop.

3.2 What we do collect

The bare minimum required to make the quiz work:

• The names you type in — for each other ("Alex" and "Sam"). You can use real names, nicknames, or anything you like — we don't verify.
• The anatomy you select (🍆 / 🍑) — used so we ask each partner only the applicable questions.
• Your quiz answers — stored linked to your session so the results page can compute matches between you and your partner.
• Basic request metadata produced by any web server: HTTP method, path, status code, timestamp. These are kept in our server logs strictly for operations.

3.3 Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. Your browser may cache the static CSS/JS files for up to one hour for performance, but nothing about you personally is stored in cookies or local storage by our site.

3.4 How we use your information

Strictly to run the service: to create and serve the session, show your results, and prevent abuse. We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, profile-building, or any purpose unrelated to running the quiz.

3.5 Who we share it with

No one. We do not share data with third-party partners, advertisers, analytics providers, affiliate networks, or data brokers. The only exception is if we are compelled by a valid legal process (e.g. a court order) — in which case we will share only the specific data required by that process.

3.6 Retention & deletion

Session data is kept only as long as useful. If you want your session permanently deleted, contact us with your session code (shown on your results page) and we will remove it.

3.7 Answers you did not match on

We will never reveal answers to you or your partner that you did not both agree on — even if one or both of you asks us to. The privacy rule is the whole point of the quiz. If you want to share unmatched answers with each other, take the quiz side-by-side in person.

4. Terms of use

4.1 Acceptable use

• Use the site for its intended purpose — taking a compatibility quiz with a partner.
• Do not attempt to access sessions that aren't yours.
• Do not scrape, clone, or resell the quiz content.
• Do not use the service to harass, coerce, or invade the privacy of any person (including your partner).
• Do not attempt to compromise the security of the service or its other users.

4.2 Copyrighted material

The original content on this site is copyright TheBedroomQuiz. You may take screenshots or print your own results for personal use. You may not scrape or republish the question bank, branding, or design without written permission.

5. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

5.1 No professional advice

TheBedroomQuiz is a fun compatibility tool, not therapy, counseling, medical advice, or legal advice. Results are generated by a simple automated matching algorithm and reflect only the answers you submit — they are not an assessment of your relationship.

5.2 As-is, no warranty

The service is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

5.3 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (including lost data, lost goodwill, or relationship fallout) arising from your use of the service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TheBedroomQuiz, its operators, and its related parties harmless from any claim or demand arising from your use of the site, your conduct, or your violation of these terms.

5.5 External links

Any external sites we link to are not controlled by us and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

6. Changes & contact

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date below. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If a change materially affects your rights (e.g. a change to how data is used), we'll make a reasonable effort to highlight it.

To request deletion, report abuse, or ask any question about these terms, send us a message.
